IQRAA ARABIC SCHOOL'S HISTORY
We started as homeschooling by group of mothers, as their children joined the mainstream schools, the mothers’ concern grew about their children’s Islamic identity and Arabic language. The mothers hired a community hall and started teaching their children the basics of the Arabic Language, the number of children expanded, and more than thirty students were enrolled.
In 2002 the project became more professional when the mothers sought help from professional family members and friends who advised looking more into hiring qualified teachers. The demand to join the school increased in the community, It became necessary to find bigger place, the school had to move to various locations to be able to cater for the higher number of students enrolling.
We pride ourselves in providing an excellent level of education in a fun and safe environment to create enjoyment and love for the Arabic language, Islamic Studies and Quran. We ensure students are supported & encouraged to achieve their potential by uplifting group interaction and teamwork and rewarding high achievement.
Creating a pleasant environment for our children to socialise and converse in Arabic is one of our main goals, as they would not be able to do so in their full-time school.
